The Nedbank Golf Challenge media experience is an undoubtable highlight.

So I scored an invite to play the Nedbank Golf Challenge Final Round with a select group of media people and sponsors.

The invitation is to play the final round of golf, to mark the closing of the course in preparation for the 40^th edition of Africa’s Major.

Back since 2019

Africa’s Major is back for the first time since 2019, which delivered record crowds of 76 000 people that attended to witness some of the best golfers in the global game.

Since 1981, the NGC and Sun City have hosted some of the golf’s most accomplished players.

You can see the names of those that have raised the famous golf-shaped glass trophy on after the final day written on the ninth hole pathway on your way to the halfway, after your putts at the ninth green.

Some final bits of maintenance was being done on some of the TV towers, grandstands and VIP tents.

I can imagine they will be packed with roaring crowds come Thursday the 10th when round 1 tees off, until Sunday the 13th to announce the post-Covid champion.
