Speaking about the highly discussed club Player of the Season, the Man United Under-23 assistant coach said the award should go to the Spanish goalkeeper.
“David. I don’t want to say that but David has been absolutely amazing again. He has been outstanding again so I must say David De Gea,” he told the club website after the Charity Match.
Other candidates were Cristiano Ronaldo, who was the season’s club leading scorer with 24 goals and Fred who probably had his best campaign in the famous red shirt.
