Emil Forsberg has written his name in Red Bull’s football history yet again.
Emil Forsberg was indeed the hero again for RB Leipzig.
This time he scored the winner to seal a 2-1 win against Union Berlin in the DFB Pokal semi-final at the Red Bull Arena.
The Swedish attacker scored the winner in stoppage-time, with a header that sends RB Leipzig to Berlin again.
This will be Leipzig’s third trip to the DFB Pokal Final at the historic Olympiastadion in the German capital.
They lost both times in their previous appearances in the German Cup, 3-0 against Bayern Munich in the 2018β19 season and 4-1 against Borussia Dortmund last season.
They are up against Freiburg, who are having. a fairytale of a season, in Berlin on 21 May.
