Mzansi has every reason to love Leeds right now.
Leeds have unveiled a mural depicting South Africa’s very own club heroes, Albert Johanneson and Lucas Radebe with midfielder Kalvin Phillips, in the city centre.
It marks the monumental strategic partnership between the Yorkshire club and Roc Nation, the music and sports management agency founded by Jay-Z.
The Roc will push the Leeds brand and name in Asia and the US.
The piece of art of a side of a building wall in the Leeds CBD features SA-born trailblazer Johanneson, credited as one of the first players of Africa descent to play in the English top-flight.
Meanwhile, Radebe, the Chief, is one the most iconic features to have called Elland Road home in recent years.
