The back story is that, we’d been here eKapa for a Saturday match. This was the Sunday after brunch when the guys were going back to Jozi. I’d arranged to stay over and fly back the Monday.

It had been my first time back home since I got the Moroka Swallows gig. So while we all waited after check-in, I stole a moment with then the league’s top scorer.

We obviously talked about the match, but the best part was an airport story about his time with Matsatsantsa. They’d been standing in a loooooooong que, after a very long flight for a CAF match. And they were told to wait and it was because of the Springboks, they had to be in the plane first 😅😅😂
